Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. There are no accounts on this site and nothing to sign up for.

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), your project description, and any inspiration photos you upload.
• Invoice payments: the last name and invoice number you enter, used to look up your invoice. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers.
• Email and phone: anything you send us directly.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry, quote and plan your project, send invoices, take payment, and keep ordinary business records. That's it. We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for advertising, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

A few services do the work behind the scenes. Each one handles your information only to provide that service, under its own privacy policy:

• Google: contact form messages are delivered to our Gmail inbox, and uploaded photos are stored in Google Firebase Storage. Website fonts are also loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's IP address when a page loads.
• Stripe: processes card payments.
• PayPal and Venmo: process payments if you choose to pay that way.
• Our website host: like nearly every web host, it keeps short-term server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the site.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking. Because we don't track you, there's nothing for a browser's "Do Not Track" setting to turn off, and the site behaves the same either way.

Stripe, PayPal, and Venmo may set their own cookies on their own sites when you go there to pay.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails, photos, and invoice records for as long as they're useful for your project and our business and tax records. Uploaded photos aren't published or listed anywhere, and the link to them is sent only to us.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including any photos you uploaded. Email or call us using the details below and we'll take care of it, unless we need to keep a record for legal or tax reasons.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning woodworking projects. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
